From Joker's Linkdump: explanation

the explanation

in march 2004 I started joker-inc. pure for fun. in the end of 2004 i had 50k visitors daily and it became an extra job. I felt some strange responsibility, driven by all those people who posted comments and sent me e-mail and the agreements i had with advertizers and colleagues.
so let me describe my working days. as a full time employee, having his own little webdesign company, picking up joker-inc caused me to work app. 70-80 hrs. per week. i went to my job, came home, read and answered my joker-inc mail for an hour, solmetimes two, started posting for 3-4 hours. in the weekend i worked for clients wanting me to have their website online yesterday. I came into dispute with my biggest client and lost him. i started getting late for my job and quitted that. from now on just joker-inc!
THEN came the day (end of march 2005) when my girlfriend decided to leave me. this was a direct result from my joker-inc job. she couldn't agree that i gave up on everything to make this a success.
in one month i "lost" everything. my job, my company and my girlfriend. i decided i needed some rest to mend things. and that also meant i had to stop posting on joker-inc.

I apologize for not letting you know.

and now? everything is okay. i picked up a study, i found another steady job and i am doing great again! deep in my heart i know that joker-inc is what i want, but i want to do things different this time. I am carefully looking for time and the opportunity to start over again.
I hope this explanation satisfies everyone's curiosity. please give me some time. one day (soon) i will be back in full.
